During the performance, the country music icon also introduced Shane Gillis and The Lumineers.
Zach Bryan and Bruce Springsteen got back together one more.
The 28-year-old country music singer joined the 74-year-old “The Rising” performer together on a duet of Springsteen’s 1982 classic “Atlantic City” and their song “Sandpaper” at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Wednesday, August 7.
The two performed a team-up from Bryan’s most recent album, The Great American Bar Scene, and The Boss’s Nebraska classic, strumming their guitars and even sharing the mic at points in fan-captured video of the show.
That evening, the “Pink Skies” singer had additional surprises in store for music lovers. In a fan-captured video, Bryan appeared to invite The Lumineers to sing their 2023 duet “Spotless,” and the band, along with Springsteen and Shane Gillis, joined him to close out the event with his 2020 track “Revival.”
This was not the first time the Grammy winner and Springsteen shared the stage together.
Bryan entered the stage for the first of two performances at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, in March after inviting Maggie Rogers and the vocalist of “Dancing in the Dark” to perform with him.
Originally joining Bryan for his encore of the previously unheard song “Sandpaper,” Springsteen ended up sharing the stage with him and the “Light On” performer for the night’s last song, “Revival.”
According to video captured at the event, Rogers, 30, shared the microphone and played the tambourine with Springsteen and Bryan, who were playing the guitar, during the performance.

The “Something in the Orange” singer revealed on Instagram in July that he had worked specifically with Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer on his new album, which also includes a sample from Bryan Adams.
“With the assistance of some really amazing people, I wrote and produced every one of these. In a handwritten comment included with the tweet, Bryan said, “I feel like I’m making music again at last.”
The result of Bryan and Springsteen’s cooperation was “Sandpaper.”
On March 6 in Chicago, the “Heading South” performer launched the Quittin’ Time tour. He will stop in a number of places before winding up on December 14, 2024, in Bryan’s home state of Tulsa, Oklahoma, including Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Brooklyn, New York, Portland, Washington, and more.
