Adebayo extends contract with Luton Town

Elijah Adebayo has signed a contract extension with Luton Town ahead of their return to the Premier League.

The club confirmed the news on Sunday with the 25 year old joining Luke Berry, Amari’i Bell, Carlton Morris, Cauley Woodrow, Reece Burke, Tom Lockyer and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu signing a new contract.

“It’s wonderful to sign any contract but especially here because since I’ve come in I’ve enjoyed my time here,” Adebayo said, speaking to the club’s website.

“There’s a unique set of lads in the changing room that – along with the people around the club and the fans – makes it a no brainer.

“Since I joined it’s been a whirlwind. When I first signed I remember saying I was here for the ride, the rollercoaster, and to just enjoy it – it’s been that and then some.

“The last couple of months have been fantastic and those are the moments why we want to be in the job.”

Adebayo has scored 32 times in 109 appearances for the Hatters since joining from Walsall in 2021.
