Omari Hutchinson: Ipswich Town sign Chelsea prospect on season-long loan - BBC Sport

Crystal Palace youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has been linked alongside Ipswich Town all summer.

The 20-year-old netted 15 goals and assisted eight more on loan at Charlton Athletic last time round, eventually being named as the Addicks’ Player of the Season.

He’s been linked with a loan move to Ipswich ahead of next seaosn but it looks like the Eagles are taking a look at the attacker in pre-season before finalising his next move.

But journalist Darren Witcoop recently revealed that Ipswich remain the favourites to sign Rak-Sakyi on loan this summer, in what would be an excellent loan capture for the Tractor Boys.

Omari Hutchinson

Just this week, reports have emerged linking Chelsea’s Omari Hutchinson with a loan move to Ipswich Town ahead of next season.

TWTD said yesterday that the move wasn’t as advanced as had been reported in the media, but The Athletic have since revealed that Ipswich are in advanced talks to sign the 19-year-old.

So it looks like Hutchinson is certainly on his way to Portman Road and it’ll be another exciting addition ahead of the new campaign, with Hutchinson able to play in a number of roles in attack.

Ipswich Town travel to Sunderland in their opening Championship fixture of the 2023/24 season next month.
