West Brom Amongst Clubs Keen To Sign Bundesliga Midfielder

West Brom are amongst the clubs who are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Oscar Fraulo on loan this summer.

After finishing ninth in the Championship last season, the Baggies are looking to become genuine promotion contenders under Carlos Corberan this term.

However, they have made a bad start to the season, losing both their opening league game and crashing out of the EFL Cup earlier this week.

The Baggies have only signed two players this summer and Corberan is pushing to bring in more reinforcements before the window closes on 1st September.

And according to German outlet Fussball Transfers, they are one of the clubs who have made an enquiry for Gladbach midfielder Fraulo.

The German club want to loan out the 19-year-old midfielder and Corberan is interested in taking him to the Hawthorns.

However, there is serious interest in the teenage midfielder from at least four more clubs this summer.

SV Darmstadt, Hannover 96, Vitesse Arnhem and Brondby have also been in contact with Gladbach for the midfielder.

It remains to be seen whether the Baggies can convince the youngster to move to England for a season this summer.

This will be only the second time that Barrott has taken charge of a Swansea City game, the first being the Swans 3-0 Carabao Cup win at Reading in August 2021.

The Yorkshire official was the man in the middle for the Sunderland v Ipswich Town game on the opening round of Championship fixtures last weekend, when he handed out 4 yellow cards and showed a red card to Sunderland’s Trai Hume in the Tractor Boys 2-1 win at the Stadium of Light.
