MEDICAL SET: A west ham top rated player is leaving to arsenal sooner

Arsenal asking price revealed for West Ham target as Moyes eyes double deal

West Ham could make moves for both Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe and PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, according to reports.

The Hammers have brought in Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Konstantinos Mavropanos in the transfer window after the sales of Declan Rice, Gianluca Scamacca, Nikola Vlasic and Arthur Masuaku.

But they aren’t done there with speculation rife over more options in midfield and attack as David Moyes continues to strengthen his squad.

Football Insider claims that a West Ham move for PSV defensive midfielder Sangare is ‘on the cards’ in the final days of the transfer window with West Ham scouts ‘set to watch’ the Ivorian in action against Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday.

West Ham have ‘targeted a move’ for Sangare with PSV becoming ‘more susceptible to losing the Ivory Coast international if they are to miss out on Champions League group stage football’.

Nottingham Forest have also joined West Ham in the race to sign Sangare and it’s understood that ‘the Dutch side have identified a potential replacement for the holding midfield star in case they lose him in a late-window move’.

A report earlier today confirmed that Arsenal are ‘willing to sell’ Smith Rowe this summer with the 23-year-old falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

And now Football Insider also insist that Arsenal have told the England international that he ‘can complete a permanent move before the window shuts’.

Chelsea and West Ham have ‘registered their interest’ in signing Smith Rowe – who has three years left on his contract – and Arsenal ‘could accept a £35-40million offer’.

Jarrod Bowen has impressed in the opening weeks of the new Premier League season and Dean Saunders likened him to Mo Salah and Riyad Mahrez after scoring an “unbelievable” goal in West Ham’s 3-1 win at Brighton over the weekend.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Saunders said: “If I was David Moyes, I’d turn my phone off right now and not accept any incoming calls because Jarrod Bowen has just joined the Mahrez and Salah club of controlling a 50-yard pass on the half-volley.

“What a goal. That is going to be hard to beat for me in terms of goal of the season.

“I can’t begin to tell you how difficult that is, when you’re running flat out, the ball’s coming over your shoulder and you’ve got to control it with your other foot in your stride and find the bottom corner. It’s an unbelievable goal.”
