Tottenham Hotspur must go all out to recruit Ivan Toney in January, according to Gabby Agbonlahor, if they are to finish in the top four this season.
Toney, whose penalty for violating the FA’s betting regulations expires in January, appears to be one of the most sought-after players in the upcoming transfer window.
The Daily Mirror claimed earlier this week that the 27-year-old might be the subject of a three-way struggle between Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal, who are all keeping tabs on the striker’s status.
According to the source, the Gunners are particularly interested in the Brentford midfielder and would have made an approach for him in the summer if not for his suspension.
According to the report, Brentford would demand at least £60 million for Toney, despite the fact that he only has 18 months left on his contract when it expires in January.
