Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Gleison Bremer, according to Fichajes. Ange Postecoglou wants to strengthen his defense even more and has his sights set on the 26-year-old Juventus star.

Spurs struggled defensively last season, and Postecoglou has been hunting for players to strengthen his defense since his arrival at the club. He has already signed several great players to his backline and is now looking for a world-class center-back. And the Australian manager believes Bremer is the right person for the job.

The 26-year-old rose to prominence while playing for Torino in Italy. During his four-year stint at the club, he rose from strength to strength and put in some outstanding performances.

When Juventus came calling last summer, his performances did not go unnoticed. Since joining the Italian gains, the Brazilian international has been an instant hit. He has already appeared in 48 games and contributed to six goals.

Bremer is a regular in Massimiliano Allegri’s starting lineup and has four years left on his contract with the club. However, given the amount of interest in his services, the 26-year-old could be on the move in the near future.

Tottenham Hotspur is one of the clubs interested in signing him. The London club is trying to strengthen their new project under the Australian manager by adding a quality defender to their ranks. Postecoglou has had a wonderful start at Spurs and is eager to take the next step by adding more talent to the mix.

The Brazilian international is a crucial member of Juventus’ first squad, and the club will not let him go easily. As a result, Spurs are prepared to make a bid in excess of €40 million for the services of the former Torino defender.

The London club, though, is not the only one interested in his services. A couple more big clubs are also interested in hiring him. And they will undoubtedly make life difficult for Tottenham. Spurs want to arrange a deal as soon as possible since other teams are interested.
