Harrison arrived on a season-long loan from Leeds United on 14 August, but he has yet to feature for the Toffees due to a hip injury.
Harrison recently returned to training and stepped up his recovery by playing 45 minutes for Everton U21s in their Premier League 2 match against Norwich City last Friday [22 September].
Dele Alli, Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes the other players currently sidelined for Everton, who also have a Premier League meeting with Luton Town to come on Saturday [30 September].
Sean Dyche will no doubt be eager to get Harrison on the field as soon as possible, but the last thing he needs is for the 26-year-old to aggravate the injury.
The recent signs are certainly positive as the winger appeared to come through the U21 fixture unscathed.
The games against Aston Villa and Luton now present a chance for the Leeds loanee to at least be part of the matchday squad, with the view of making his debut off the bench
If not, Everton have a home match against Bournemouth to follow on 7 October, before the second international break of the season.
While the Toffees may have finally clicked into gear in an attacking sense in their 3-1 against Brentford at the weekend, Harrison’s return from injury will be a welcome boost for Dyche.
