Franck Ribéry responds to what Tottenham’s £180,000-a-week player tweeted on Instagram.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Ivan Perisic updated his Instagram account on his injury recuperation.

Several Spurs teammates, notably Franck Ribéry, responded to wish him well in his rehabilitation.

Tottenham revealed last week that Perisic had suffered an ACL injury during non-contact training.

The Spurs announced that he will have surgery and will be out for the rest of the season.

Perisic had surgery in Austria and is now undergoing rehabilitation. The 34-year-old man uploaded a selfie of himself on crutches on Instagram.

“I appreciate Dr. Fink and his colleagues’ hard work and dedication.

Ribéry, his former Bayern Munich colleague, posted a raised hand and heart emoji.

In the meantime, his Croatian teammate Dejan Lovren tweeted: “Son, you don’t need to go easy on the right, take it easy on the left!”

Fabrizio Romano tweeted two heart emojis, and Eic Maxim Choupo-Moting said, “Get well soon, kid.”

Perisic joined Tottenham in the summer of 2022 and appeared in 50 games, scoring one goal and assisting on 14 others. This season, the 180,000-pound-per-week star has made six appearances across all competitions, including the Carabao Cup final.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed last week that Perisic will be out for the next five to six months.

“Perisic, a great professional who will work hard to return and help Spurs in March/April,” he wrote in X.

“Then, with the belief that he can do it, Euro 2024 with Croatia.” I wish him a speedy recovery!

Hopefully, that is the case, and we will see Perisic in action before the season is through.

Mickey van de Ven of Tottenham Hotspur spoke to the Press Association (via Liverpool Echo) on his admiration for Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.

Tottenham Hotspur signed the 22-year-old from Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga for £43 million plus add-ons during the summer transfer window. Van de Ven made 41 games for Wolfsberg, scoring once and assisting three times before joining the Spurs.

The Reds will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The teams are now in second and fourth position, with only two points separating them.

Van de Ven has a lot to say about his appreciation for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. He stated:
