Newcastle United has published a statement in response to criticism about its partnership with Castore.

Castore is currently under heavy scrutiny as a result of Aston Villa’s protest over the quality of their clothes this season.

Newcastle’s Premier League competitors have filed a lawsuit just months after it was reported that the club will be terminating their arrangement with Castore early in order to collaborate with well-known brand Adidas.

According to the Telegraph, Newcastle explored switching uniform suppliers in response to fan concerns about Castore. As a result, they’ve secured a deal.

We also appreciate Castore’s assistance and dedication to the club’s success over the last three years.

In 2019, Newcastle will collaborate with Adidas.

Newcastle and Castore have had no internal conflicts, but their collaboration will terminate the next year.Adidas, the brand responsible for some of Newcastle United’s most famous jerseys, has been confirmed as a sponsor of the club’s Amazon documentary.

The reintroduction of the German brand will undoubtedly excite fans, but it will also have a big financial impact on the team.

This is due to the Adidas agreement being significantly more profitable than the Castore agreement, which pays the Magpies £5 million each year.

According to the Telegraph, Adidas will pay £40 million a year to produce and supply Newcastle’s outfits. The contract is for five years and will pay the Magpies a total of £200 million.
