NEWS FLASH: Tottenham has confirmed the signing of a free agent

Luka Vuskovic, the new signing for Tottenham Hotspur, has been praised for his ‘enormous potential’ after completing his move to North London.

Tottenham Hotspur will benefit from Luka Vuskovic’s leadership qualities.

Tottenham have signed Vuskovic after a few weeks of speculation.

Spurs paid £12 million to get Vuskovic to North London, but they must wait to see him play.

Vuskovic is only 16 and cannot play for Tottenham until he is 18, thus we won’t see him in a Spurs shirt until 2025.

Luka Vuskovic was born in Croatia.

Spurs evidently believe in Vuskovic as a future star; it’s not everyday that a 16-year-old is sold for £12 million.

Vuskovic has already played for Hajduk’s first team and appears to be on the rise.

Zoran Vulic, a former Hajduk player and coach, has now been queried about Vuskovic having ‘worked personally’ with the young defender.

Vulic told Sportske Novosti that he feels Tottenham will gain nothing from signing Vuskovic and will only benefit from his arrival.

Vulic goes on to say that Vuskovic has “enormous potential,” calling him a “leader” at the age of 16.

Brother Mario, who plays for Hamburg, possesses similar characteristics, although it is expected that Luka will advance considerably further in his career.

“Time will tell for Tottenham, but the English will not go down without a fight.””They will only benefit,” Vulic stated.”God bless you, because Luka Vušković has enormous potential, but what is even more important, he also has the head of a leader, just like his older brother Mario,” he said.

Tottenham is constructing a formidable defense for the future.

Vuskovic’s arrival was exciting enough, and comments like Vulic’s will only add to the excitement.

What’s fascinating is that Tottenham appears to be putting together an exceptional combination of center backs for the future.

Summer signing Ashley Phillips, as well as youth academy prospect Alfie Dorrington, are both highly regarded.

Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, the first-team center backs, are only 25 and 22 years old, respectively, and should be in their prime years.

With the addition of Vuskovic down the road, Tottenham might be set at center back for a long time after years of chopping and shifting – but it will be up to those young defenders and the Spurs coaching staff to ensure their potential is realized.
