Everton is one of four Premier League clubs rumored to be interested in signing a “special” attacker in the near future, with others interested as well.
Is it necessary for Everton to sign another offensive player?
The Blues were anxious for attacking firepower during the summer transfer window, having struggled for goals the previous season, contributing to their relegation battle.
Sean Dyche was able to address this issue by bringing in several crucial summer players, including Beto from Udinese in a big-money move, as well as Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal and Jack Harrison from Leeds United, respectively.
However, it has failed to make the essential difference in the Premier League, with Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Luton Town a disappointing result on a day when many expected a home win. While Everton’s 3-1 win against Brentford last weekend showed that they had regained their footing, this result puts them right back where they started.

AC Milan, West Ham, and Wolves are also interested in the 21-year-old, so the Blues will have heavy competition. His current deal with PSG does not expire until the summer of 2027, therefore he may not be cheap.
Ekitike is obviously dissatisfied with his present club, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be a fantastic signing for the Blues, given his reputation as an exciting young player with a bright future in the game. Oscar Garcia, a former Reims manager, had praised him, saying:
“He has a very special quality about him.” He’s still young, but he has the makings of a great player. He’s a young man with a lot of talent but also a lot of training to complete.”
Ekitike may have been overshadowed by Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar at PSG in recent years, but he has still provided four goals and four assists to the cause. A total of 13 goals and eight assists in 52 Ligue 1 appearances is also a good return for a young player, and he might give some much-needed offensive quality to Everton.
A January departure from PSG would very probably appeal to the player, therefore it would be remarkable if he stayed for the remainder of the season.
