LATEST NEWS: West ham beat two PL rivals to sign free agent

Smith Rowe and West Ham have a new opportunity.

Premier League clubs will be interested in West Ham summer target Emile Smith Rowe if he leaves Arsenal, according to Football Insider.

According to Football Insider, the Irons and Chelsea both indicated interest in a late-window deal for the 23-year-old in August.

A deal for Smith Rowe, on the other hand, fell through, and he will stay an Arsenal player until January, when he could be available to interested parties such as West Ham.

Despite his continued lack of involvement at Arsenal, Smith Rowe is considering his alternatives, according to Football Insider (2 October).

If more additions arrive in the subsequent windows, both the club and the player may decide it is time to move on.

The Gunners could accept a £35-40 million deal for the England international, who has three years left on his contract, during the summer transfer window, according to sources.

In five appearances during the 2023-24 season, the midfielder has played 115 minutes.

Arsenal is looking to recruit additional players in the January transfer window, which would push the right-footer even further down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

If Smith Rowe becomes available in 2024, a number of Premier League clubs are expected to scramble to sign him.

Smith Rowe did not play a single senior game for Arsenal during the club’s injury-plagued 2022-23 season, but he did score 10 Premier League goals the year before to prove his credentials at the top level.

He helped England’s Under-21 squad win the European Championships earlier this year, but he has four senior caps for the Three Lions, scoring one goal.

In other developments, Liverpool and Jarrod Bowen have began talks.
