Celtic have been plagued by injury issues since the start of the 2023/24 season. Brendan Rodgers’ side won away at Ibrox last Saturday, but that does not imply they are in terrific form right now. This was their first win in three games. This club has to gain some momentum and go on a winning streak.

Unfortunately, Brendan Rodgers’ team has been dealt another injury setback just when things were looking better. Liel Abada appears to be on the bench for the time being.

Abada picked up an ailment while traveling with the Israeli national team, according to recent reports. There is also a worrying update on the issue.

According to The Scottish Sun, Abada will be out for about a month owing to a quad injury. He was deported to Scotland. Celtic will conduct their own investigation into the matter.

A Celtic player has been ruled out for a month due to a new injury.

This season, Abada has been an important player for Celtic. He appears to be a focal point in Rodgers’ plans.

Under Ange Postecoglou’s supervision, Abada spent a lot of time on the bench last season. It was expected that he will leave this summer. Since the change in management, things have altered dramatically for him.

It is also worth noting that, with the departure of Jota, Abada has been elevated to the position of regular starter. And he recently signed a long-term contract extension, which would have seemed inconceivable merely a few months ago.

Now he’ll have to sit out for a while, which is another issue for Rodgers. Hopefully, the club’s players will be able to fill in for him. This summer, Celtic added three new wingers: Yang Hyun-jun, Marco Tilio, and Luis Palma.
