Injury news: Tight end for the Cleveland Browns David Njoku arrives at the game wearing a beige mask.

Browns tight end David Njoku arrived at Sunday’s game wearing a beige mask before changing into a balaclava while warming up, indicating that he plans to play this weekend despite suffering burn damage to his face just days earlier.

Following claims that he suffered burns to his face and arm while igniting a fire pit at home, the 27-year-old was labeled as questionable for Cleveland’s Week 4 home game against the Ravens.

‘The meat is week,’ Njoku assured Browns supporters on X on Saturday. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow, #DawgPound.’

It is unclear when the event occurred or the extent of Njoku’s injuries. He wore a beige coat that matched the color of his mask as he arrived to FirstEnergy Stadium. Except for his eyes, it covered his entire neck and face.

Earlier this week, his agent Malki Kawa posted on social media that Njoku ‘is OK’ and thanks ‘everyone for reaching out.’
