Teddy Bridgewater has signed with the Lions.

On Thursday, the Lions made a few roster changes, including the acquisition of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

On Monday, Detroit and Bridgewater apparently reached a deal. Head coach Dan Campbell, who worked with Bridgewater on the Saints a few years ago, said this week that the Lions want to see if he’s “still got it.”

Bridgewater, the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 draft, appeared in five games with two starts for the Dolphins last season. He completed 63% of his passes for 683 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Detroit also announced the signing of running back Benny Snell. He played in all 17 games for Pittsburgh last season, but largely on special teams, with only 42 offensive snaps. He rushed for 90 yards and caught two passes for 17 yards.

Snell was the Steelers’ most productive offensive rookie, registering 426 yards and two touchdowns.

Because Justin Jackson was placed on the reserve/retired list, the Lions needed to add a running back. Last season, he appeared in 16 games for Detroit and was a key contributor on special teams. After spending his first four seasons with the Chargers, he carried for 170 yards with a score and caught 12 catches for 101 yards for the Lions.

Logan Stenberg, a guard with the Detroit Lions, has also been waived
