The Hoops have been left ravaged at times, particularly in the last month, with a number of important stars and new arrivals sidelined indefinitely. However, as the weeks pass, the Parkhead treatment room is progressively clearing, which will be welcome news to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Matt O’Riley’s outstanding play for Celtic has put the midfielder on the verge of being called up to Denmark.

The Liverpool midfielder was brought on loan to help ease Parkhead’s defensive injury issue, but he got injured on his debut. Phillips rolled his ankle against Dundee and was replaced at halftime, ruling him out of the following games against Feyenoord and Livingston. The 26-year-old’s injury is not considered serious.
