Milwaukee Bucks are experiencing their worst nightmare yet.

After losing Game 1 due to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s early injury, the Bucks are hoping to win Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Heat.
Only two players—including Antetokounmpo—appear on Milwaukee’s first injury report since Sunday’s Game 1 defeat to Miami, which was issued on Tuesday.

The Bucks are putting Giannis Antetokounmpo as “doubtful” for Wednesday’s game against Miami, according to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, while guard Wesley Matthews is out.

According to the medical report, Giannis is struggling with a lower back contusion that he got following a contact with Heat forward Kevin Love while attempting to score in the opening period of Game 1.

The Milwaukee Bucks' worst nightmare has finally arrived
After the incident, Antetokoumpo collapsed to the ground in agony but temporarily continued to play. Towards the end of the first quarter, he was observed leaving for the locker room, but he never came back.

The MVP contender got X-rays, according to Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer, who indicated after Sunday’s game that the club will assess the player’s condition on Monday morning.

He missed practice on Tuesday and was labeled “doubtful” for Game 2 of the series, indicating that his ailment is still bothering him two days later.

Giannis played 11 minutes in the first game of the series and contributed six points and three rebounds for Milwaukee. If Antetokounmpo’s back puts him on the sidelines, Khris Middleton might take over as the team’s top offensive option once more after stepping up in his place and scoring 33 points.
