Liel Abada has been chastised by the.

Criticizing Liel is extremely unfair and unjust.

Liel Abada has been the object of some criticism in recent days. Naturally, this is a reaction to the club’s choice to attack the Green Brigade for their publicly known support of the Palestinian people and country, particularly the banners shown at Celtic Park on Saturday.

Even though the criticism of Liel has come from a small number of unreasonable followers, one critical voice is too many. Nothing is wrong with Liel Abada. His only offense is that he is a patriot. He had no ill will toward Celtic fans or any other people. The sole criteria by which Liel should be evaluated is his performance on the football field.

We are a club open to all after all and that should be remembered. Liel is a talented young lad who is a valued member of our squad. He deserves better and doesn’t deserve any flak coming his way especially due to something that’s outwith his control. He’s also had some stick from his homeland because he plays for Celtic and those banners were displayed at Celtic Park by the Green Brigade – yet Abada gets the stick from that end too!Celtic star Liel Abada 'being followed' by English Premier League clubs with view for future transfer of Israel winger | The Scottish Sun

If you think he deserves to be criticised just because of where he’s from or who he plays for, you should be ashamed of yourself. Thankfully the overwhelming majority of the Celtic support don’t think this way and will give Liel Abada our full support as indeed the club is doing.
