Leeds and West Ham have both expressed interest in the 26-year-old left-back.
According to The Athletic, Kai Wagner is expected to leave Philadelphia Union at the end of the current MLS season, with contract talks going ‘nowhere’ despite Union’s wishes – despite interest from Leeds United.

Wagner, however, is scheduled to leave on a free agent after his contract expires at the end of the current MLS season. According to The Athletic, Leeds have shown interest in Wagner and have yet to find a new left-back.

Despite being on his weaker side, Sam Byram has been impressing in that role, while Stuart Dallas and Junior Firpo stay at the club despite being injured. Wagner’s popularity may continue.

Saturday evening is an excursion to New England. If he is allowed to leave on a free transfer, Leeds must consider a bid for the German defender, who has assisted on 13 goals this season.

If Leeds are still interested in Wagner, they must act swiftly considering AEK’s interest. Gianluca Di Marzio recently stated that he is also being courted by West Ham, Brentford, and European clubs.
