The Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Justin Jefferson was formally placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, and he will now miss the next four games as the team sits at the bottom of the NFC North with a 1-4 record.

There are four free agent wide receiver options for the Vikings.
N’Keal Harry and Trishton Jackson were promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, and the Vikings will rely on them, as well as K.J. Osborn, Jordan Addison, and Brandon Powell, to keep the offense afloat.

If the Vikings want to add depth at wide receiver, a few free agents are still available. These are the men listed in ascending order of intrigue (No. 1 = best option).

Kenny Golladay is number four.

In 2018 and 2019, this former Detroit Lion turned New York Giant had two monster seasons. So that was four years ago.

Following that, he got a massive contract with the Giants, and his contract rapidly became an albatross. Golladay, now 29, awaits a free-agent audition with another team and a chance to relive his glory years of 2018 and 2019, when he averaged over 1,000 receiving yards per season.

In actuality, Golladay is probably washed, but at a reasonable fee, the Vikings could confirm.
