According to an MLB TradeRumors article:

Anthony Santander, an outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles, has been a frequent trade target throughout his career as a steady, excellent outfield bat during the club’s rebuild. Despite the fact that Baltimore broke through this season with a 101-win season that sent them to the postseason for the first time since 2016, it appears like Santander’s rumors will continue into his final summer of arbitration eligibility.

According to MASN’s Roch Kubatko, given Santander’s large projected contract in 2024 (MLBTR’s Matt Swartz forecasts him to earn $12.7MM in his final trip through arbitration), he could be the subject of trade negotiations again this summer. Kubatko goes on to mention the Marlins as a team that has previously expressed interest in his services.

The Marlins will undoubtedly need to improve their offense and power in general for 2024, especially if Jorge Soler leaves this offseason. Seattle is also in need of offensive upgrades, especially if Teoscar Hernandez goes in free agency.

Santander had another strong season for Baltimore in 2023, hitting 28 home runs and driving in 95 runs. He also hit.257 in 591 at-bats. In his career, the 28-year-old has hit.248 with 111 home runs.

In 2022, he hit a career-high 33 home runs.
