Pittsburgh’s injury report is nasty; it’s a catastrophe.

Before their crucial Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Pittsburgh Steelers received some unfavorable news on their injury report. Despite their disappointing draw with the Detroit Lions in Week 10 of the season, Pittsburgh is still in contention for the sixth AFC playoff seed. Given that the Chargers now hold the seventh seed, this game is crucial for the Steelers. The Steelers’ injury report indicates that they will be without a lot of significant players, making their chances of winning Week 11 look slim.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report says that key starters are out after a disastrous Sunday night.
One of the best players in the NFL, T.J. Watt, won’t be taking the field for the Steelers in this game. He will not play because of a hip/knee injury he suffered against the Lions, which appeared to have the potential to end his season. On the offensive side of the ball, the Steelers’ injury report wasn’t too bad. The only offensive player who was ruled out of the game was left guard Kevin Dotson. Dotson, one of the Steelers’ top linemen this season, had an injury against the Lions and was subsequently unable to return to the game. He will now miss Week 11. The Steelers would have preferred to have Dotson face the Chargers because they have one of the weakest run defenses in the NFL. They can be used, but Dotson’s assistance would have been useful.
