The leading player for the West Tigers is accused of killing a man in broad daylight.

Two West Tigers junior players, one a rising NRL star and the other his younger brother, are accused of killing Dejan “Danny the Serb” Radulovic.

On Wednesday, 21-year-old Eti Tavui turned himself in to Liverpool Police Station. He was charged with stabbing and shooting 29-year-old Radulovic on Donnelly St. in Balmain, Sydney’s inner west, on July 29.

at addition, he was accused of disobeying a digital evidence access order. On Wednesday night, he was detained by the police and was scheduled to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday.

Police will allege Radulovic’s death was the result of a disagreement over drugs.

The arrest came just one day after his 19-year-old brother Masei Tavui, an up-and-coming Tigers junior recruit, was arrested at his family’s rental home in Austral and charged with murder.

Like is brother, Eti was a talented NRL player with a promising career ahead of him.

In May, he played for the City Kangaroos 1st Grade in the Macarthur first grade premiership.

He also played for the Western Sydney Magpies in 2018, and East Campbelltown Eagles 2020, and won the Jack Ashley/Ken Stonestreet Junior Rep Rising Talent when he played for the the West Tigers junior leagues in 2019.

It also appears as though he was pursuing career in voice acting.

According to his profile on Voices, a website that links employers with aspiring actors, he comes from a family-of-nine and enjoys ‘playing a variety of sports’.

‘I am a believer of Christ , I love to eat food so much , I have family of nine and also I love to try and learn new types of thing in the world we live in,’ the profile read.

His little brother Masei was arrested on Tuesday morning after police raided a home in Austral, in Sydney’s south-west.

They seized ‘clothing relevant to the investigation’ and led him out of the house in handcuffs.

On the day of the alleged murder in July, police allege he fled the scene in a white Jeep.

He allegedly dumped the vehicle set it alight on a residential street in nearby Five Dock.

Radulovic was raced to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but doctors were unable to save his life.

Police established Strike Force Dears following Radulovic’s death. The situation is still being investigated.

Masei was denied bail in Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday afternoon.

His matter will be mentioned in Sydney’s Downing Centre on December 12.
