Nottingham Forest have been linked with Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu.

Forest’s summer efforts to sign the 24-year-old proved futile. According to rumors, a €11 million (£9.5 million) offer was deemed “very low” by the Turkish side.

Akturkoglu remains in the spotlight, with various teams rumored to have watched him play for Turkey and Galatasaray recently. According to TEAMtalk, Forest, Aston Villa, West Ham, Brighton, and Everton have been among the clubs to “check” on the winger.

Tottenham, however, is claimed to be interested and to have “initiated contact” about a possible January deal. He has been in excellent form this season, with five goals and seven assists in 16 games across all competitions

Reds renew their interest in the new year, they will have competition from a slew of European clubs who are thought to be interested in him.

After joining Galatasaray in 2020, the Turkey international signed a contract extension until 2026.
