A very clear and sad news as Steelers dealing with two Injuries

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with two significant injuries as they begin Week 8 preparations for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Inside linebacker Cole Holcomb and running back Anthony McFarland have been chosen by head coach Mike Tomlin as players to watch this week as they aim to get on the field this weekend.

Holcomb suffered an ankle injury against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. He was able to return and finish the game, but Tomlin stated that he will require medical treatment during the week. His involvement in practice, as well as the quality of his participation, will influence whether or not he plays versus the Jaguars.

McFarland is in his second week of practice since returning on Injured Reserve. With a knee injury that has kept him out of the last five games, the running back now has 14 days to be activated back to the 53-man roster. If he is not activated within that time frame, he will be suspended for the rest of the season.
