Mo Eisa’s injury ‘doesn’t look great,’ according to Liam Manning, after the striker was stretchered off the pitch against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old collapsed on 57 minutes while following a forward ball as Dons trailed the Owls 3-1 at Stadium MK, instantly signaling for assistance from the physios.
The striker, who has 12 goals this season, was stretchered off with his left leg tightly wrapped after receiving treatment on the field from Adam Ross.
Manning revealed afterwards that the entire nature of the injury has still to be determined, but that it does not look promising with only two weeks left in the season.
“It’s not looking good,” Manning admitted. “We’ll have to look into it.” He’s down in the locker room, devastated. But we’ll have to wait a little longer to see where he’s at.”
