Former Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Chris Olave was arrested on Monday on a reckless operation of a motor vehicle charge

Former Ohio State Buckeyes and now New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave was arrested on Monday for reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football was the first to report the incident.

Olave was reportedly driving 70 mph in a 35 mph zone. According to Underhill, Olave has fully cooperated and was taken to Kenner City Jail. Olave has since been processed and released from custody.

Now, a video of that arrest has surfaced, with Olave apologizing to police.

“My bad dawg, I play for the Saints, man,” Olave said.

A former first-round pick out of Ohio State, Olave is in his second NFL season and has 111 catches for 1,513 yards and five touchdowns in his career.
