According to their website, Excel’s purpose is “to be the world’s premier sports agency, channeling the power of sports to help our clients reach their full potential.”

Clark rose to prominence in American sports last spring after leading the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Tournament championship game. Iowa ended as the NCAA runner-up, and Clark won every national player of the year honor.

Clark was also selected a unanimous preseason All-American by the Associated Press on Tuesday. She is also the Big Ten preseason player of the year.

Clark has risen to prominence in the NIL (name, image, and likeness) environment. She has lucrative relationships with companies such as State Farm, Hy-Vee, Buick, Nike, and H&R Block, among others.

Clark’s star power was on full display on Oct. 15 at Kinnick Stadium, where a crowd of 55,646 watched Iowa play DePaul in a scrimmage. It was the largest crowd for a women’s basketball game in history.
