Hull City duo Ruben Vinagre and Harry Vaughan will be assessed ahead of their Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday. Left-back Vinagre, a summer signing from Sporting Lisbon, is nursing a minor thigh problem while midfielder Vaughan sat-out their midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers due to an ankle problem.
Head coach Liam Rosenior told our sister title Hull Live: “Harry’s touch and go. We’ll assess him tomorrow (Friday) as we’ve still got that extra day. The same with Ruben. It was always the plan to give him 45 minutes (against Doncaster) but he’s felt his thigh.
