Almost six months after the “vaping” sideline incident, Mike McDaniel has decided to talk about it. During the NFL’ AFC Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins head coach was

accused by fans of vapingwhen he was seen on camera taking his hand to his mouth with a curious move. And now, in his appearance on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast,Mike McDaniel addressed that subject on his own ironic and mysterious way.

Host Dan Kast asked him directly if he was vaping that time. “Vaping? Like water vape? Hmm. What a confusing question. I don’t know this technology you speak of”, Miami Dolphins’ head coach said sarcastically.

“Having said that, I will leave you with this. In past lives, I have vaped. Regardless, just the idea of that being something that people are talking about after a playoff game is annoying enough to provoke me to never do it again, and I’ve since quit, classic McDaniel style, cold turkey, just like alcohol”, Mike McDaniel said while Kast and the other members of the podcast shared a few chuckles.

“But you know, as far as during a game… I’m sorry I wish I were better schooled on the subject. I just don’t know what you guys are talking about”, he expressed in the most “McDaniel” way.

So, at the end of the day,Miami Dolphins’ head coach never admitted or denied anything. The “vaping” incident during the NFL’ AFC Wild Card game against Buffalo Bills was left open for imagination and a lot more of interpretation after his words on the Barstool Sports show.
