PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers are monitoring two injuries as they prepare for their Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. On Day 2 of practice, they classified six players as injured.

The Steelers are still without All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. With no work in the last four weeks, it’s unlikely he’ll play against the Bengals in Week 12.

Montravius Adams continues to recover from an ankle injury, being limited for the second day in a row – his first two practices since the injury three weeks ago. He’ll need a full day of practice tomorrow before he can face the Bengals.

The Steelers are continuing to monitor a shin injury to wide receiver George Pickens. Pickens popped up on the injury report yesterday, missing practice. He was limited on Day 2, which should mean he’s trending toward being healthy by gameday. Tomorrow will play a significant role in his availability.

Pittsburgh has two more injuries to keep an eye on as rookie Nick Herbig (hamstring) and cornerback James Pierre (shoulder) were limited for a second day. Cam Heyward joined them with a groin injury tag, but after returning from surgery, he’s been held back during practice to ensure his health on game days.
