Clemson Tigers have multiple offensive players with severe injuries,remaining in the air ahead of their rivalry game against

Shane Beamer met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to talk about the upcoming rivalry game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Clemson Tigers, and also updated the status of several banged up players who are looking to be available for the final regular season game in 2023. Here’s the latest on each of those games:

  • OL Trai Jones – QUESTIONABLE: The fourth-year offensive lineman has missed each of the last four games with an undisclosed injury, and is working to make his way back for a rivalry game he’s quite familiar with.
  • OL Cason Henry – QUESTIONABLE: Made it back for the Jacksonville State game, but reaggravated the injury he sustained in week one versus North Carolina and hasn’t played since.
  • OL Jaxon Hughes – QUESTIONABLE: Played in two games this season, but hasn’t taken a snap since the Vanderbilt game.
  • WR Juice Wells – UNLIKELY: Has been out since the Georgia game, but began practicing with the team again this past Tuesday. Despite that, Shane says he wouldn’t count on Juice playing this weekend.

: Having not played since the Jacksonville State game due to a lower-body injury, Joyner assured Beamer and staff that he plans to play against Clemson on Saturday, in what would be his final game in Williams-Brice Stadium. He practiced in a limited role today.
