Breaking News: Packers head coach has been fined due to the….

The Green Bay Packers were off to the races in the Motor City for their Thanksgiving Day victory over the Detroit Lions, playing fast and with purpose from the very first play on Thursday.

It was clear head coach Matt LaFleur had a plan and it didn’t involve slowing down.

You could say they had the “all gas, no brake” approach that LaFleur had instilled in his team when he arrived in 2019.

That mantra was put to the test for LaFleur, personally. LaFleur put on the gas as he was heading to the locker room after a dominant 23-6 first half by the Packers. But then in a strange sight a Ford Field security guard tried to put the brakes on LaFleur.

The security guard looked at stopping him before making contact with the coach.

But LaFleur kept the accelerator going and shouted “get out of my way.” LaFleur then turned around and had some more words for him.

LaFleur told Fox’s Tom Rinaldi coming out of halftime that something like that has never happened to him before.

But he added that the guard wasn’t going to stop him.

That was clear. LaFleur was on a mission and it appeared his team was as well. The Packers won, 29-22, and improved to 5-6.

It was indeed an “all gas, no brake” type of performance from the Packers and their coach against not only the Lions but also the security guard.
