It’s not Lamar Jackson or Marquise Brown he’s Anyone who’s seen Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson this season knows he’s fast.
When Jackson becomes a runner, he always displays great speed, cutting ability, and vision.
Jackson is such a great athlete that he may even be the fastest player on the offense this season.
But that’s wrong.
If you’re thinking, “Oh, then it has to be Marquise Brown,” you’re wrong too.
It turns out the Ravens’ fastest player this season is.

On a touchdown run in Week 14, tight end Hayden Hurst reached 20.

Incredibly, this is the fastest speed a Ravens offensive player has achieved this year.
While this is surprising, it doesn’t technically prove that Hurst is the fastest player on offense.
Brown and Jackson will outpace Hurst in 40 yards.
Rather, it explains how rarely players reach their maximum speed on the field.
Jackson is exceptionally fast, but rarely has enough space to launch a full sprint.
He usually adjusts his speed so he can avoid tacklers.
Brown made some wide-open catches but couldn’t turn on the Jets.
Hurst, on the other hand, made the catch with no one in front of him and plenty of time to reach top speed.
Despite those reservations, Hurst will likely boast about this performance in practice this week.
It may be a formality, but if the fastest player has evidence that he is faster than the two, ride it for as long as possible.
