According to CaneSport (On3) publisher Gary Ferman, it’s “gonna be nip and tuck with both Matt Lee and Kiko Mauigoa on entering the NFL Draft.” They were two of Miami’s top twenty players this season.

Lee, Miami’s starting center, and Mauigoa, a star linebacker, have eligibility remaining if they choose to remain at The U.

Lee graded out as a top 15 center in America, per Pro Football Focus. He graded out as the 8th best Miami Hurricanes player in the 2023 season at a 76.5. He only surrendered four quarterback hurries and was not credited with any sacks.

Lee is likely seeking feedback from NFL front offices on a possible draft grade. Centers don’t typically get taken very high but there are exceptions.

Mauigoa finished the year with a 69.5 PFF grade, 17th highest on the team. He led Miami with 17 tackles for loss and recorded the second-highest total in overall tackles at 70. It’s tough to locate a draft grade on Mauigoa at this time, but he would likely project as a day three pick (4th – 7th round).
