ANOTHER SAD NEWS, a super player has stated that he will no longer play for Michigan due to…

The Michigan transfer was injured on a scramble in the first quarter and is questionable to return.

Adversity struck Iowa football early against Michigan State on Saturday night, as Hawkeye starting quarterback Cade McNamara was carried off the field by trainers midway through the first quarter.

Under pressed on second down deep in Iowa territory, the Michigan transfer attempted to scramble. He moved up in the pocket, sliced off his left leg, and collapsed on the field. After a few minutes, trainers pulled the Reno, Nevada, native off the field because he couldn’t put any pressure on his left leg. This spring, McNamara developed a quad injury in his right leg.

McNamara went into the medical tent after reaching the sidelines and was then dragged off into the tunnel, holding up a hand as a gesture.

Zak Zinter, a fan favorite for the Michigan Wolverines, sustained a sad injury that would likely terminate his collegiate football career during “The Game” against rivals the Ohio State Buckeyes.Throughout his career, the offensive guard has been a key component of the No. 3 Wolverines’ running game, paving the way for classmate and star running back Blake Corum in the renowned maize and blue.

However, in the final game of the regular season, Zinter, 22, was injured in the third quarter at The Big House in Ann Arbor. Gus Johnson, a FOX commentator, told viewers that Zinter “got his knee rolled up on” and that the footage was too horrible to transmit.

Zinter’s mother confirmed on Instagram that her son will be having surgery that night. “Update on Zak,” she tweeted. “I’m about to go into surgery… Please pray for Zak’s surgeons, the surgery, a [complete] recovery, and his understanding of the injury! Tibia and fibia fractures.

“A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone of the family/friends/fans that have contacted out! Please know that we will read them when we have time. We are overjoyed with the love! On the plus side, he’s 3-0 vs OSU!! This is a TEAM and a FAMILY! True brothers, they FaceTimed him from the locker room while he was in the ER!!! I adore this TEAM and FAMILY!! BLUE FOREVER!!! #myboy65”
