The Carolina Panthers are headed to Louisiana today for their divisional matchup with the New Orleans Saints after all the preparations have been completed. After another turbulent week in which David Tepper’s operation came under fire from the media and the organization sever its long-standing relationship with Wofford College in Spartanburg, focusing on football will be a welcome change of pace.

With the Panthers at 1-11 and not getting any better, it’s difficult to remain focused and inspired. The stories generating controversy ahead of this weekend’s game include Shaquill Griffin’s adjustment, an improved injury situation, an insider giving Tepper the boot, and Carolina being mentioned as a possible landing spot for Mike Tomlin.

WEEK 14 INJURY REPORT FOR THE CAROLINA PANTHERS

In terms of injuries, the season has been appalling. Luckily for the Carolina Panthers, health appears to be improving for everybody. Though at this point it seems nearly impossible to salvage anything from the campaign.

Against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14, just two players were ruled out. NFL concussion protocol is still in effect for tight end Hayden Hurst, who was diagnosed with post-traumatic amnesia. Due to a knee issue, defensive lineman DeShawn Williams will also be absent from the game.
