Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had struggled in recent weeks with turnovers prior to the team’s Saturday night showdown against the Denver Broncos.
The veteran passer has been a key part of the team’s rebuild over the last two seasons, performing well enough to lead the organization to an 18-6 record over the last 24 games.
After struggling in prior games, Goff’s best was on display for the Lions Saturday. He tied a career-high with five touchdowns and recorded a passer rating of 134.6 in the 42-17 win over the Broncos.
