JUST IN: Auburn in hot battle to sign Miami OH receiver as transfer emerge

Auburn is going after another receiver to add to their arsenal for 2024.

Gage Larvadain, a junior transfer wide receiver from Miami (OH), has been contacted by the Tigers, per On3.

In ten games with the Redhawks, Larvadain caught 42 passes for 679 yards and six touchdowns. Lavardain was previously at Southeastern University, where he spent two seasons and recorded 1,252 receiving yards. According to On3, he’s communicated with Auburn, Baylor, Cal, Duke, Houston, Michigan State, Miami, South Carolina, Tulane and UCF.

Auburn has already landed a commitment from Georgia State WR transfer Robert Lewis. The former three-star prospect made Third-Team All-Sun Belt after collecting 70 receptions for 877 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Lewis’ best performance of the season came early against Charlotte, where the 5-foot-11 wideout hauled in six passes for 220 yards and two scores.

California quarterback Sam Jackson V has also transferred to Auburn and will convert to wide receiver. Jackson was Payton Thorne’s top receiving target in high school.
