Bru will now be catching passes for Tennessee’s third quarterback, current true freshman and future redshirt freshman Nico Iamaleava. Iamaleava told the media before his bowl game appearance, “I’m trying to get Bru back.” “It’s huge, man,” he adds. I believe a guy like that returning will be the receiver room’s leader. We’ll be young next year, so just having him back would be huge for me, and I’m working on it.” Nico appears to have gotten his wish, as he will have a physical outside target to throw to in his first regular season as a starter.
