Mike Vrabel’s future with the Titans is ‘currently not settled,’ according to reports.

According to a new report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, the situation between Vrabel and the Titans “currently is not settled,” and organizational meetings are expected to determine whether or not the team will make any major changes this offseason.

According to the ESPN reporter, there are people around the league who believe that both sides are open to moving on and that Vrabel may be dissatisfied with the organization, though no specific reason was given.

Despite speculation that the Titans will not make significant changes this offseason, league sources told ESPN that there will be organizational meetings between coach Mike Vrabel and the team’s decision makers to determine whether any significant changes will be made. People around the league continue to believe that Vrabel would be willing to be moved to another team, or that the Titans would be willing to move him — or both.

Vrabel has stated publicly that he wishes to remain in Tennessee, but others have questioned his happiness.

The source of Vrabel’s possible discontent was not revealed in Schefter’s report, but rumors of a rift between Vrabel and general manager Ran Carthon have circulated.

More than ever, there appears to be a very real possibility that Vrabel will not be the Titans’ head coach in 2024. If that’s the case, I’d expect the Titans to deal him for draft capital.
