Tennessee Titans’ former coach of the year is

Vrabel was named Titans head coach in 2018 and has led the team to four consecutive winning seasons, including a trip to the AFC championship game in 2019. Vrabel was named NFL coach of the year in 2021, but the Titans had losing records in 2022 and 2023, going 6-18 in his last 24 games, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Titans want to overhaul their staff. The Titans finished the 2023 season 6-11, with five of their losses being by four points or less.

“I will never be afraid to admit that I have unapologetically high expectations for the football team and every aspect of the Titans organization,” the team’s controlling owner, Amy Adams Strunk, said in a statement. “Our vision is to compete for championships on a regular basis, not just to win more games than we lose. While this season was disappointing, I do see early signs of improvement. Last year, we added a promising young quarterback and a few other talented players to our team. With a coaching search, enviable cap space, and a Top 10 draft position, this offseason is as critical as any in our history. I’m excited about the coming weeks and months. “We’ll meet the moment.”

Derrick Henry, the Titans’ star running back, was surprised when he learned of the firing.

“Wow. Wow. I am shocked. Coach Vrabel is a men’s leader. “He is an excellent coach and teacher,” Henry told The Athletic. “I know he’ll get another chance right away. “I am looking forward to it.”

Some believe Vrabel, who won three Super Bowls as a Patriots player, will succeed Bill Belichick as New England’s head coach.

However, a new year brings fresh hope. Many countries hold elections, including the United Kingdom and the United States. We need to believe in change. That something better is achievable. The Guardian will continue to cover events around the world, and our reporting feels especially important right now. However, running a news organisation is not cheap.

So this year, if you can afford it, I’d like to ask you to donate money. Well, not to me personally – though you can if you want – but to The Guardian. By donating just $2 per month, you can help us continue our mission to seek the truth in all corners of the world.

With your help, we can make our journalism available to everyone for free. You will never find any of our news reports or commentaries behind a paywall. We can’t do it without you. Unlike our politicians, when we say “we’re all in this together,” we mean it.
