Good News:Las Vegas Raiders confirm Another Important Signing

Raiders employ former Cardinals head coach Kingsbury
After spending the last two weeks interviewing with many NFL teams, former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has found a new position.

On Thursday night, Adam Schefter of ESPN NFL Insiders on X (formerly Twitter) revealed that Kingsbury has been hired by the Las Vegas Raiders to serve as their new offensive coordinator.

The Chicago Bears reportedly intended to interview Kingsbury for their open offensive coordinator position on January 18, but Shane Waldron was hired a few days later.

With the Raiders, Kingsbury will have another opportunity to coach in the major leagues after his tenure in Arizona ended prematurely the previous season.

Prior to being sacked on January 9, 2023, he coached the Cardinals for four seasons, leading them to a 28-37-1 record in 2019.

Due to his efforts through 2027, Kingsbury led the Arizona Cardinals to the 2021 postseason before being awarded a six-year deal on March 22, 2022.

But when the Cardinals finished 4-13 in 2022, Kingsbury was fired less than a year into his new deal.

Kingsbury was the USC quarterbacks coach and senior offensive analyst for the previous season.

Although he started working with Caleb Williams, a projected top-3 pick in the NFL Draft, the Raiders don’t make their selection until No. 13.

There isn’t much of a possibility for the two to reunite unless Las Vegas pulls off a bombshell trade to draft higher.
