JUST IN: Flyers key player made a public announcement

As the 2024 NHL All-Star break comes to an end and the league returns to the bulk of its regular season, some teams, including the Philadelphia Flyers, resumed practice on Sunday. The Flyers took to the ice in Hollywood, Florida on Sunday afternoon, preparing to face the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night. One sight at practice was particularly pleasing to the Flyers and their fans, who desperately need to get back on track to save their season.

After suffering a scary injury against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday, January 20, Flyers young star Owen Tippett was back on the ice and it appears he will be able to be back with the Flyers for the first time on Tuesday in five.

Tippett’s game status for Tuesday night has yet to be announced, but he appears to be on the right track and could return soon. Flyers fans will find out more about Tippett’s situation in the coming days.
Despite missing the last five games, Tippett has been very busy, having recently signed an 8-year contract extension with the Flyers, as Danny Briere made sure to make Tippett one of the Flyers’ future cornerstones.

Tippett has 30 points in 46 regular-season games this year, including 18 goals and 12 assists. Tippett’s shooting ability and quickness in transition have been critical to the Flyers’ offensive success this season.

Will we see Tippett back on Tuesday night?
