Nottingham Forest have cause for encouragement

In the league, the Reds have not triumphed since defeating Erik ten Hag’s squad 2-1 at the City Ground. When they play West Ham United on Saturday, they are two points clear of the relegation zone.

It has caused a slight shift in the club’s attitude in recent weeks, especially with the possibility of a points deduction looming large. At the lower end of the division, Forest is aware that they are right in the thick of things.

On the other hand, the team’s approach from the opposite end of the field should also inspire optimism. They can score goals against any opposition when Nuno is in charge.

The 50-year-old will have been at his current job for two months next Tuesday. During that period, he has faced several difficulties, not the least of which being the limitations placed on his options by his injuries and unavailability.
