A Florida State quarterback has been sentenced life imprisonment for rape.

Former FSU Football Star Jordan Travis Demonstrates Progress Ahead of NFL Combine
The former Seminole has made remarkable progress in his rehabilitation from a season-ending injury.

Jordan Travis, a former Florida State quarterback, sustained a horrific leg injury just 90 days ago, effectively ending his college career. With the highs and lows that have occurred since then, some Seminole fans may believe it has been much longer.

The sad event occurred at the worst possible time on Travis’ schedule. It not only prevented him from competing in the ACC Championship and playoffs, but it also placed his preparation for the NFL Combine and 2024 Draft on hold.

Over the previous few months, the experienced quarterback has gradually improved. Travis has reached the stage where he may begin the rehabilitation process without wearing a boot on his wounded foot. He’s already working out his left ankle and riding a stationary bike, which is a good indication.

Travis is moving in the right path. The new development comes only weeks after he was caught using a walking boot during the East-West Shrine Bowl. He was unable to attend the exhibition, but remained in Dallas to encourage his old teammates and speak with scouts and media.
Travis talked with Steelers Depot at the time, confirming that he had spoken with Pittsburgh executives and indicating that he hoped to be close to 100% by May. It remains to be seen how much he can accomplish at the next NFL Combine, but he should be back on the field this summer with whatever team chooses him.

The Florida native recently completed a record-breaking career at Florida State and is a quarterback who will be remembered in Tallahassee for all time. Travis finished his career with the Seminoles as the all-time leader in total touchdowns (98), total offence yards (10,665), rushing yards by a quarterback (1,950), and QB rushing touchdowns (31). He is the first player in programme history to be rated in the top ten on the Seminoles’ career throwing and running touchdown lists.

Travis concludes his career in garnet and gold with 28 victories as the starting quarterback, tied for second all-time with Chris Rix. He led the Seminoles to back-to-back double-digit victory seasons for the first time since 2015-16, helping the programme recover from one of its worst periods in history.
