In his debut season in the City of Brotherly Love with the Philadelphia Eagles, D’Andre Swift was outstanding. He was brought in by the team to take Miles Sanders’ place, and he far surpassed expectations.
Swift ran for 1,049 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games (15 starts). As a receiver, he caught 39 passes for 214 yards and made one end zone play. Regretfully, it appears that he will be entering free agency during this offseason. The Birds should make an effort to get him back, but there’s no assurance that they will be successful.
Assuming he signs with another company. These three players represent possible replacements the Eagles could sign in free agency. A few have previously been brought up in relation to Philadelphia.
Given his advanced age (30) and the amount of physical damage his body has already sustained, there are definitely good reasons to be cautious about adding Henry at this stage of his career. Injury or a possible decline in output are both real possibilities that one cannot discount.
