News Now:Bears have already avoided the biggest season-opening headache.

The Bears will avoid seeing their fiercest adversary during the first week of the season.

Based on historical performance, it’s easy to conclude that they’re already ahead of the game.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, they will not face the Green Bay Packers to begin the season, presumably with Caleb Williams as quarterback.

The Packers must start the season in another country. Schefter stated that they will face the Philadelphia Eagles on September 6 in São Paolo, Brazil, following the league’s Thursday night season kickoff.

The Bears have had to open their seasons against Green Bay in three of the last six years, and they have lost all three.

They’ve lost a series record ten straight games versus the Packers, and they’ve lost their previous five openers against them. The Bears last won an opener against Green Bay in 2006, when they went to the Super Bowl and fell to the Indianapolis Colts.

According to previous release dates, the Bears schedule will most likely be revealed in May, following the draft.

So far, the sole leak on their regular-season itinerary is a game against an undisclosed opponent at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

On August 1, the Bears began their preseason against the Baltimore Ravens in the Hall of Fame Game at Canton. The remainder of the preseason opponents and game weekends are often released at the same time as the regular-season schedule, but the actual dates and times of those games are usually announced later.

The Green Bay Packers’ regular season will begin with a game in Brazil.

The Green Bay Packers are leaving the nation again! The Packers announced on Tuesday that their first game would be in São Paulo, Brazil. This will be the Packers’ second foreign game, following their 2022 game in London.

On Friday, September 6, the Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles at Corinthians Arena, which also houses the Brazilian soccer team SC Corinthian. This will be the first regular season NFL game in South America.

“We’re looking forward to being part of this historic matchup against the Eagles in São Paulo,” said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. “We’re excited to play in front of our devoted fans in Brazil and help build upon the international popularity of the NFL and the Packers.”

The Philadelphia Eagles have been chosen to host the game, meaning it will be deemed an away game for the Packers.

As of Tuesday, tickets for the showdown were not available, but those interested may submit a priority access deposit, securing a spot in line to purchase a ticket package before they go on sale to the public.
