Aiyuk is looking for compensation akin to that of a legitimate number-one receiver, which would come out to almost $30 million annually. He is not yet considered by the 49ers to be a $30 million pass receiver. In the 2025 offseason, quarterback Brock Purdy will likely receive a contract extension, therefore the 49ers will need to accept the fact that they cannot retain all of their key players.
